Am I to understand that Maya and the gang will go in search of Chloe Saunders and the gang? Ohh, I so hope they do, and that they actually meet. XD
I have to say that Darkness Rising is equally amazing as Darkest Powers, if not more. But let's just go with equally amazing. Maya is such a brilliant main character, strong, stubborn, dedicated. She's like a happy teenager Elena.
And I may jump in a ship that may not sail ever but Daniel, ahh my heart hurts for him. He is such a good guy, and I really hope that Maya will see his love and maybe reciprocate; because from what I've seen/read until now, he deserves it.
Now, to back away from the mushy romancy stuff, because the book is not about just that. Holly bananas, Batman!
It's quick paced, full of adrenaline, and such a great cast of teenagers. There isn't one left out or underdeveloped. Just ace!
