I think this third book in the series is my favourite so far and I have high hopes for number 4 (which I just started reading). This book changed my view of Georgina and Seth's relationship and, for the first time since the series started, I really wanted the two to make it work out. It's weird how I thought Seth was plain and boring as a love interest until their relationship was truly threatened (I guess it was because he stood up to her instead of being such a pushover - did you ever hear of a sexy doormat?).

Seth is the quiet, nerdy guy and not typically what I would want to find in a novel. I'm into the confident and often dangerous types (like Barrons :D ) and I also found his tendency to stand people up when writing his novels pretty annoying. He was never going to be my ideal man and I was never going to be able to fall in love with him, but I did at least fall in love with their relationship this time around. Plus, I read the goodreads description for the next book and I'm excited to find out what happens next: will they get back together? Will a more thrilling prospect come along? So far, Mead has my full attention... I just hope she doesn't go all wishy-washy on us readers at the end of this series. Apart from Storm Born, Richelle Mead's writings have all started so so well and I haven't been unfortunate enough yet to get into the disappointing territory that I've heard comes in her Vampire Academy series and may or may not come with book 5 of this one.

Please, please, don't fail me!
