Barry and Pearson have developed a very successful trilogy. Filled with adventure, a fast paced plot, magic and wonder, and dashes of funny episodes, this is a delight to read. In this one, the third in the series, Peter fights against the dark Lord Ombra, who has reappeared and decides to use Peter to get more Starstuff. Peter, Captain Hook and a few of the boys get captured while the island is attacked by the Scorpions, an evil, poison bearing tribe. Even with the wisdom of the head of the Mollusks, they cannot overcome the Scorpions because they are severely outnumbered. Molly's father tries to come to the rescue with the intent of leaving Molly behind, but she stubbornly gets George and herself on her father's ship, unbeknownst to her father. Just a wonderful magical story for children and adults who are young at heart.
