This story is about a gentleman hat peddler. He stacks hats of all colors on top of his head and walks slowly so he don’t disrupts them and shouts caps for sale $.50 cent! One day he can’t sell any caps so he decides to take a nap under a tree. When he wakes all of his caps are gone, he panics and look everywhere and can’t find them until he looks up. He sees monkeys in the tree he slept under and each one had on one of his hats. Confused on what to do the peddler decides to command the monkeys to give him the caps back, but instead they shake their finger and say “tsz.” So the peddler gets upset and stomps his foot and command them, and they decide to stomp their foot and say “tsz.” Really angry the peddler stomps both his feet and yells to the monkeys that they give him back his caps, and so the monkeys stomp their feet and reply “tsz.” By this time the peddler gives up he is so mad that he throws his own hat to the floor and walks away and as he takes one final look at the tree he notices that all of the monkeys took off their hats and threw them to the ground. The moral of this story is monkey see money do.
