Read from April 22 to 28, 2011 — I own a copy, read count: 2

Had the worst time getting through this second reading. I really prefer Betsy and the plot to be in the needlework world. The whole antique cars thing seemed like something the author spent a few weeks researching because she ran across an event and thought it would be interesting. Maybe it would, but not as the central event in a series supposedly focused on needlearts. And again, the author uses the "Big Reveal" plot device of witholding vital evidence from the reader. While this may work for a master like Conan Doyle or Agatha Christie, to me in a lesser writer it is just laziness or lack of inventiveness.
