Brilliant scholarship and insight, but slightly boring to read. This book explains, in a complex way (complex because he sites tons of evidence), why the white people have the money and power today. He painstakingly looks back through history at the evolution of civilizations. He also dismantles ignorant theories like racial superiority. The key has more to do with geography than anything else. Apparently, not all areas of the globe were created equal.
