I loved almost everything about this book. The characters were realistic and likeable, the setting was interesting, the plotline moved just enough to keep me interested without delving into being a "heavy" book, and most importantly, the writing just made everything come alive.

Like I said, it's not a "heavy" book; there aren't any intricate plot twists or great big schemes, just a couple of girls living their daily lives. But they do it in such a way that just makes this book hard to put down or even forget.

Easily one of the best books I've read all year.

“If I could take people out of their heads for a little while, if I could give them a dose of fantasy, that was all that mattered. You can't put a price on escape.”
