The concept of this book intrigued me enough that when I set it back on the shelf at the bookstore it kinda stuck with me as I strolled around the rest of the store and left with it. Kelly Meding's book is about a woman who is a bounty hunter, murdered and framed for the deaths of her team, and somehow she's reborn in another body and has 72 hours to solve her own murder and clear her name.

It could have been a really good book -- I like the urban fantasy genre, but this one just lay flat for me. There were parts like when I thought Alex had murdered Chalice that I thought this book had potential, but it just ended with a whimper and a boring cliched conclusion. I don't think I'll continue the series.
