This book was amazing!! Holly Black does a wonderful job of pulling you into Cassel's world. I felt like I was right there with him! It's been a long time since I've come across a book like this one, and I'm really looking forward to Red Glove, the sequel.

The cons are very believable, I can see the logic behind them. I love the social standards the author wove around the wearing of gloves, and that Cassel was even embarrassed to see a woman without hers on. The story was very well put together with vivid details, and even though it was easy to read, it was a very intriguing and addictive page turner.
