Okay, this book was full of Jane Eyre references, and apparently the lesson the girls learned from the book was: "you should not chase after a man, but let him chase you". I'm fairly sure I interpreted Jane Eyre a little differently when I read it..

On another note, Michael is still a sweetheart & Mia needs to get better about speaking up. I can't believe she let the dude hanging for most of the book! Not very cute of you Mia, not very cute.

Also this book has a bit where the characters comment about their movie selves and it has totally made my life. It was fantastic!! "The guy who played Michael was a total babe." And the explanation as to why Tina was not in the movie.. absolutely brilliant! Possibly the highlight of the series thus far for me.

Sally You know I have never read ANY of the Princess Diaries? I think this needs to be rectified!

Sandra I've never read any of the books before either! It's all Paola's fault. She gave me download links for all of them. (Well, technically I'm still missing books 8-10, but..) I could share, if you'd like? They're mostly PDF files (except book 7, you need Windows Reader for that, which is actually pretty ace - it reads LIT files, and I found this free website for classics today that has 33,000 free EDUB files, and you can convert them to LIT files for free, and now I have like 18 new books to read.. for free! so yeah, Windows Reader is pretty ace).

Sally Hmm... on the one hand, I loathe reading stuff longer than like, 5 pages on a computer... but on the other, I am tempted! :D

Sandra They're fairly short - the first one was 170 pages, second one 150, and the last two weren't even 130 pages.. I hate reading on the pc too, but it sounds like more than it is because it's written in diary style. ;) I'll send you the first book and you can see how you like it, ok? :)

Sally Okay, it's a deal! I am interested to read them at least, so it'll be easier than something random ;)

Sandra Haha yeah, indeed. :) Being interested seriously helps.. I've tried other books and my attention just.. drifted. xD

Sally THIS is also why I need an e-reader of some sort, then I can read them without the other distractions a computer holds xD

Sandra Hahaha :P But they're quite expensive.. my parents are getting a ~free iPad~ with their new car though.. I'm thinking of trying to use that as E-Reader but IDK. Maybe those apps will distract me in that case..

Sally They are, that's why I haven't caved yet... also, I have enough physical books to read! I think I should get through those first and then a kindle or something can be my *reward* ;)

Sandra Sounds like a plan! That's a good idea actually. You know, if I were seriously considering buying an E-Reader.. I am considering it, but not seriously seriously yet. But it's definitely an idea to keep in mind..
