it was amazing
Read from April 14 to 15, 2011

This was a really cute read that reminded me alot of the movie Mean Girls.

April is dreading the first day of school. Her best and only friend moved to Kansas leaving her all alone.

Brit is the most popular girl in school. She is beautiful, everyone wants to be her firend and all the guys adore her.

When April and Brit get teamed up together as gym partners, Brit takes April under her wing and starts inviting her to sit with the group at lunch. At first, April is super excited, but when she is told by her best friend to stay away from the red lipstick.....she starts to wonder??? The whole book takes off from there.

This book was an exciting read, a breath of fresh air compared to what I normally read which is usually paranormal books. I loved the character of April, she was hilarious. This is a great teen read, proving to young girls that looks are not everything and everyone has flaws.

Amy Holder wrote an uplifting book that is highly a highly recommended read!
