While some of the plot points in this book, by this point in the series, are running a bit threadbare (Kostos), Brashares does a reasonably good job of bringing these characters to the cusp of adulthood and showing the changes in their lives and their relationships that go along with that. Bridget's adventures in Turkey are especially well done.
