Don't You Forget About Me
by Jancee Dunn
by Jancee Dunn
Lillian is very organized, very regimented, and a bit set in her ways. When her husband grows tired of the routine, he leaves Lillian, which comes a complete shock to her. Her reaction is to move home with her parents and dwell. Luckily, her high school reunion is coming up. She focuses all her energy into planning and preparing for the event. Some high school crushes, attitudes, and pressures begin to creep into Lillian's life, and she has to decide whether to succumb to them or be the 38 year old woman that she is.
I adore Jancee Dunn's writing, but this book didn't really grab me. I kept waiting for something monumental to happen. But maybe that was Dunn's point.
