Sherryl Woods knows how to write a story about a family and a town. I fell in love with the characters, and couldn't wait to see how their lives evolved in the book. Sherryl Woods does a fantastic job at developing great characters, and allows the reader to feel their emotions. I cannot wait to read the 3rd book in the Chesapeak Series! The only negative about the book, is it doesn't really go to deep into the emotions of the 2 main characters and how they really dealt with their pain, I kinda felt a little left on the edge of their emotions. It was kind of like the Author was too afraid to go there for fear that the story would get drowned by their emotions, but I felt it needed it! Otherwise, I think the story was great, characters were believeable, and loveable, and overall a great read!
