Drawing Conclusions (Commissario Brunetti, #20)
by Donna Leon
by Donna Leon
It is always a welcome experience to be reacquainted with Donna Leon's Venetian mysteries. Each story features a continuing cast of finely drawn characters and an atypical mystery to solve. Commissario Brunetti and his family and coworkers seem so real because the author gives them thoughts and feelings to share; the humanity of the stories are as satisfying as the mystery underneath. Plus it's set in Venice; the city sights and sounds, bridges and calles are all wonderfully wrapped around the story. Highly recommended.
