Where Eagles Dare
by Alistair MacLean, Clint Willis
by Alistair MacLean, Clint Willis
Quite different from my first Alistair MacLean's book: Puppet on a chain. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. Very fast paced and smooth narrative. Though interspersed with highly imaginative action sequences liberally, the tight knit plot and superb setting more than makes up for it. That said, I still dont comprehend Alistair's need to write impossibly long sentences!
This one is a go-read-it-now for me.
