it was amazing
bookshelves: hebrew
Read in August, 2004

Etgar Kerret is a lecturer at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Be'er Sheva but his short stories are briefer than brief and often irreverent and twisted. He's a pleasure to read in Hebrew, even if you're a new learner of the language as he writes in an approachable idiom. The film "Jellyfish," a joint venture for Keret and his wife, Shira Geffen, was presented at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival and received two awards.
