Despite the other reviews, I liked it and would definitely read other books in this series. I have a feeling the first four books were about Alec Buchanans other siblings in Boston...

The dialog did have annoying points though, where it went on for too long or the sentences uttered were slightly out of character. Garwood also has this habit of, in a split second, making something happen all of a sudden with no explanation. I found myself saying, wait, what..., reading back and realizing she made a major plot point in a sentence fragment or something.

Other than that, her characters were very richly put together and I didn't expect the twist at the end at all. I really liked Alec and Regan, although I felt as thought Alec came about face re: the relationship waaaay too quickly. In less than a paragraph he'd changed his mind, and it was a little, wait, what?

I'm also looking forward to seeing what happens with the other Madison brothers :)
