really liked it
Read in January, 2004 , read count: 1

This book was extremely difficult. There were parts that were so descriptive of the hardships of the family, I almost could not stomach it. But the book is SO powerful, I could not help but feel compassion for these people (and want to transform government to do so). If anyone is frustrated with the ideals of liberalism, this book is a great place to start in trying to understand where they are coming from.
