** spoiler alert ** I thought that this was a great book , however it had quite a few confusing parts where worlds switch.
This is book two in the series, book one is Over Sea, Under Stone. Don't make the mistake that I did which was read book two before book one. This book got the Newberry honor award but I personally think it should have gotten the Newberry Award itself. Book 4 in the series was awarded a Newberry Medal. Lots of Newberry awards so I decided to give it the most magical award for all of the 7 mysterious signs which Will is trying to get for Merriam a mysterious person from the group trying to defend from the dark. However when Merriam's assistant Hawkin goes and switches sides Will's life is almost destroyed by Hawkins also known as the Walker.
I'd recommend this book to any of you out there who love creative and surprising books, for this book is densely packed with it. This book however has many characters and if you don't like books with too many characters in it you probably won't like this book.
Overall this is a great book and I bet that just about everyone would love it.
