This was a decent book with a unique storyline. The book tells the story of a family's heritage of dowsing (or divining) and poses a mystery regarding a vision by the main character. While I found the history of dowsing interesting, and the story of Cass's family very interesting, the mystery got lost along the way. By the time the mystery is resolved at the end, I'd almost lost interest in what happened or who the suspect might be. The saddest part of the story was probably Cass's comment that the art of divining, or dowsing, will soon be a lost art due to technological advances. While I enjoyed the book, I don't know if I'd read another one by this author or not.
