This book hit really close to home. Not in the, "I lost a loved one to serial killer" kind of way, just in the way that an adult recognizes how many stupid choices we can make as a teenager. I think about all the ways I could have been in trouble if just the right twist of fate had led me to certain circumstances. As teens we are so headstrong and sure and those are such great qualities for achieving dreams. But they are also qualities that can lead to tragedy and I just hope that anyone who reads this can recognize the myriad of choices that can lead to tragic consequences. I'm sure I will be thinking about this book for a long time. I will be thinking about my sister and being grateful for her even more than I already am.
