Chloe Oh, Ayn Rand.... You know, she's actually not a terrible writer. She's just a somewhat solipsitic person.

Mary Yeah... I have a friend who read this book for his rock music/philosophy thesis... and yeah, it sounded interesting, and I am really curious about it. Hehe, solipsists.... I remember those stupid jokes in philosophy class, such as, "two solipsist walk into a bar......." (I can't believe I just told you that. :P)

Chloe That's okay. Look at the solipsist joke I have on my goodreads profile. ;)
I think her philosophy is bad, but she can spin a pretty good sci-fi story. She's not my favorite writer, but she's not bad at all. I liked Anthem a lot. And, yeah, I agree that collectivism is bad. I just... think she's reactionary.
