Star Wars: Outbound Flight

Reasonably good. Zahn's writing style is never flowerly, but the prose in this book seemed a bit drier than usual, but it was a quick read and good story none-the-less. I was slightly disappointed in the character development. It was kind of like... C'boath is a jerk and that's all we need to know. Thrawn's brother was introduced into the plot way too late into the game for me to care about what happened to him at the end and the same with Jedi Jinzler who could have been such an amazingly good character. This book seemed more like it was done as filler history between Episodes I and II or II and III? I can't even remember the chronology, but my point is that there are some future tie-ins with C'boath that it would have been nice if Zahn had explored those a bit more and tbh, I would have loved to see more of a tie-in with the Corellian who was one of the main characters. Heck, I'm really interested in Han Solo's history and this might have been a nice way to explore it since he was probably a young child at this point in the Star Wars Chronology.
