This was a really fun look at what happens to people who donate their bodies to science, but she goes on a lot of tangents that pertain to specific research (like sewing heads on to separate bodies; she goes way beyond talking about cadavers and spends quite a lot of time on experiments done on live monkeys). Reading about cadavers is one thing, but reading about cruel experiments performed on living animals is another, and that made the book hard to deal with at times.

(For the record, I'm not against humane animal research, but the stuff she talks about is certainly NOT humane.)
