This book wasn't hard to read and if I didn't think about it to much might have received more stars. It kept me entertained enough and I didn't dread picking it up again. I like Del and Deliah. She was strong willed and 29 far to old not to have married. She was a business woman and basically all around not the norm for a lady in her time. Del was suppose to be an 'alpha' male. He was controlling, sexual, and thrilled about Deliah's differences. Neither Del or Deliah are common for their time under normal circumstances. Notice I say normal circumstances. The trouble for me came with the fact that everyone on their side essentially fit the same descriptions with an occasional change of hair color. To top it off a good portion of these exact replicas of our leading characters were apparently from a previous book series. So as much as I like this type of characters I find it disappointing that there aren't enough differences. There are positive things in many types of characters and variety would make things much more interesting for me anyway.
