really liked it

“Phantom Universe” is a really good book. I am not really into futuristic books, but this one got my attention. I fell in love with the characters and especially Summer. Even after all she went through, she was still an incredibly strong person –very inspirational.

Summer is kidnapped at the young age of 4 and sold to pirates on a ship as a slave. After being tortured and beaten when she was just a child because she wouldn’t stop crying and screaming, she swore she would never speak again. Summer then meets Landon, who by the way sounds pretty hot with his Scottish accent. YUMMY. Then one day, before her 16th birthday, some mysterious people come on to the ship and demanded that they give them Summer. Also with them is Jaden who was with her in the holding cell before she was sold off to the pirates. Summer manages to escape just in time before the ship explodes and is washed ashore. When she wakes up, Landon isn’t with her, but Jaden is. Then while Jaden was looking for food, Summer all of a sudden starts to glow and a bright light comes out and when she wakes up, she is no longer in the year 2010, she is in the year 2210! That’s when Summer’s adventure begins and also meets Gage, her love interest - who I find sooo romantic and sweet.

Phantom Universe is a great read. I truly enjoyed it. I can’t wait for the second book! Enjoy!!
