The saga continues, and again the author highlights an interesting variety of cultures, in this case one in which rudeness is a serious crime. This might seem silly at first, but it also might be a valid response in a colony situation in which people had to get along in order to survive.
As the author continues to examine the various ways in which groups and societies react to conflict and threats, she keeps the reader entertained with a good action story. There is a thread of a mystery plot line underlying the basic action/adventure/military sf story, and this makes the book hard to put down, if you enjoy following her threads.
