Ugh... I honestly don't know whether to blame my dislike of this book on the book itself, or on the guy who narrated the audio book (he was very difficult to listen to). I've read other Sandra Brown novels several years ago and enjoyed them, so I was really bummed when this one wasn't as good as I remember the other ones being. But maybe my tastes have changed over the years.

The only reason I'm not giving this 1 star is because I didn't have the murderer figured out until it was revealed. I knew who it WASN'T, but hadn't come up with the culprit on my own. But even that 'twist' wasn't incredibly compelling.

Overall this book was very unremarkable, and it annoyed me more often than it entertained me.
