I picked up this book and completed it in just around 24 hours. It was a short read, but the stories stuck and were very sweet and I loved the progression between them. I feel many people feel as Jane(ie) has at many times, whether the too-intelligent fourteen year old or the girl in love for the first time, to the bad men to the one we're afraid of the most.

It wasn't chick-lit in the sense that others have defined it, it was removed from that exclusively superficial world of bitchiness and gloss. Family cares, friends care, they may fail but they are present.

Simply put, I like it. As it was recommended to me, I will recommend it to others.
