it was amazing

I know most of you think I suddenly became illiterate because I haven't posted. Not true, I just slowed down on reading and was lazy and didn't post. So here starts the update. I read THE HELP since it recieved great reviews. I was not disappointed. What an inspiring read! Based in the south (mississippi I believe) it is a story of segregation on the most basic day to day level- Blacks working in the homes of Whites. I really loved getting to learn of the perspective of the ladies who kept house and practically raised white children. Very interesting to note that the white babies loved their black mamas until they grew a bit older and turned into their parents. How disappointing this is! Anyway, great read.
