After getting bored with listening to her sister read, Alice notices a little white rabbit with a waistcoat and a watch, looking as though he was late for something. Alice follows him down a rabbit hole and finds herself in Wonderland. She meets very different animals and creatures and becomes a part of this world that she is not sure is real or fiction, learning about herself on the way.

This book was really good. I had never read it, but I have seen many movies and adaptations of it. I thought that Alice was a little annoying at some parts, because she would say the strangest things, but for the most part the book was a lot like the movies and shows that I have seen with only minor differences. The author has a very interesting writing style and it added to the magic of this place, because everything was just so different. I have already recommended this book to my roommate. It was a great pick!
