The Lost City of Faar (Pendragon, #2)

I really, really enjoyed this book. In many ways more so than the first. Bobby is much more mature than he is in the first adventure and he seems to have accepted that he is a Traveler and "that is the way things are meant to be." The story was very well-paced, and I was actually bummed when the writer went back to discuss how things were going on Second Earth. I will say this though...I hate Andy Mitchell. I mean truly I can't stand that annoying kid. For a writer to have me display this much emotion toward a character says quite a bit about his writing talents. The only issue I have with the books so far is that in Bobby's journals, his vocabulary is way more than advanced than any 14-year-old I've ever met. That's a minor complaint however.
Anyway I won't drag this on. If you're reading this, you obviously read the first book and are interested in the second in the series. You will definitely enjoy it. I'm very glad that MacHale is not shy about the topic of death and he will definitely kill characters when their time is up in the series. Very, very curious as to how this series ends up. Onto book number 3.
