** spoiler alert ** I was a bit disappointed in this book. It starts off well, but then divulges into this Mormon propaganda throughout the book. The first was particular disappointing as it starts off interesting (what most would expect of a post-apocalyptic world) and then has this happy ending. We're Mormon and everything is okay and everything in Utah is good because that's where the Mormons are. And that's the theme of the book. Times are tough, unless you are a surviving Mormon. There is more to it in that, he talks about the hardship of Mormons on the outside (the fringe), but has long as they make it home they'll be okay.

The Book Geek I couldn't even finish this book, because the propaganda is so thick in this.
