Read on April 06, 2011 — I own a copy, read count: 1

This definitely merits 4 1/2 stars because it was really well-written and fun.
It was at times funny and sad and hopeful and depressing, but it did what it was supposed to do. It made you both think and feel.
Think of the ways you push people away just because you are afraid of yourself, them, fate, circumstance and everything in between.
It made you think of the ways you keep secrets from people even when you don't have to, even when letting out and opening your heart could really be the remedy to it all.

And it made you feel for both characters. Initially, you didn't know why there was this constant batter and antagonism between Jimmy and Laney, but as the story progressed you realized the reasons and one in particular was one I didn't really see coming.
I didn't think people could act normal after something like that and then again, cynicism and sarcasm isn't exactly normal, although I tend to see it that way :P.

I am too sleepy to complete this review now, but this book is definitely worth a read. It will surprise you in a good way and it's really short! :)
