** spoiler alert ** Dragged...I don't know...I just felt it went on and on and on. I like these concepts, but this was long long long. Mmmmm...

The Fire Chief's speech...on and on and on and on. It was really one big INFO DUMP. Here's how it was here's how and why we changed it and I'm just going to preach it to you! Well guess what, about 1/4 through I was bored.

Halfway through and this book just going on rants. Everyone seems to be bent on lecturing our Protag on their view of the situation. (if you haven't noticed I'm writing these thoughts as I read it.)

Is this protagonist just stupid? Seriously! (Sorry the scene with the three women and the protag and the poetry driving me nuts.)

The Fire Chief--sigh (yeah he's driving me nuts). And Montag is a NUTS-O. He's the one who caused all these problems.

Oh my god! Every character goes off and a preach fest in this book. Okay, well I can say I've read it, but didn't particularly enjoy it...the idea cold have been great...

The time! The space within this novel takes place didn't work for me either. And the resolution - Let's just bring in an enemy to annihilate the people and voila then we can move in and solve all problems. UGH!

PREACHY. Can't I say it again.

Chris I have to agree-- I never liked this book. I'm glad I'm not alone!!

Jennifer Marie :D Yay we can not have liked it together. I really felt like it was a soap box for the author to get on and preech about how society and books and go on little rants.

Oh well I've read it. Another one off my list.
