** spoiler alert ** I read this book when I was nine -- it didn't scare me one bit. I'm serious, I had no nightmares of Dracula. Well, the thing that really gets me is zombies anyway so nobody can be blamed for that. I love the story and it was a worthwhile read. However, I don't like how Dracula was defeated. I know, I know he had to die, but for me he always comes back and lives on. I know it sounds really stupid but it's just how I see it. Anyway, I never liked Van Helsing...I always thought he was a punk for some reason. I was always on Dracula's side. Mainly because I thought John and Mina and especially Lucy were too stupid to live.
