I find the premise interesting, but also confusing. I wonder if it would be clearer in the original novel. Was that translated into English? Or maybe the anime is clearer.

The Board of Education passed some censorship law or something, but the libraries are against that. So both of them have like, armies. One to steal books from bookstores and libraries. The other to er.. acquire books for the libraries.

Except that the library books can circulate, so seems real easy to me to get your hands on it and then like burn it or something. And you'd think the federal law wouldn't allow the books to be printed in the first place.

The story follows a new recruit, who also seems to be one of the few women. Which is pretty cool.

I just wish it made more sense.
