really liked it

** spoiler alert ** After being a little disappointed in book 3 Infernal Devices, I still wanted to finish the series. I am so glad that I did.

This gave a thoroughly satisfying ending with some hope for the future. It was not a fairy tale ending. Some characters died, of course, since the body count in these books is almost as high as one in a typical tragedy by Shakespeare. Those British authors just go killing off main characters, don't they? :)

But seriously, I really liked the ending where the old Stalker Shrike told the future people about what had happened. It was a touching end to the book. Although by this point, everyone else was dead from either war, suicide, or natural causes (it was least a few hundred years later when he "woke up" again), he could still share.
