i read the nearly 700 page clint eastwood - american rebel - biography. i have been a fan of his for a very long time. i have never read a biography of anyone before because i just am not a big fan of history - no matter whose life story it is. but i made an exception for clint because i just love him so. i knew a lot about his life, and now i know way too much. some things were a hard pill to swallow, the biggest being that he was quite the womanizer, has 7 kids by 5 women (and has only been married twice) and that a couple of the women had abortions. and those are just the ones we know about. his career didn't start off easily, but he kept persisting, and thank goodness. i love him most as a cop, second as a cowboy, and third as someone with a love interest, hence the reason i have never seen bridges of madison county. clint is best as a loner, on screen anyway.
