This definitely gets more into the swing of things than the first did, with a look at alternative groups that have survived the apocalypse. From a character and personality study standpoint, things are especially interesting in here. It seems natural that some people would be drawn to the idea of keeping the zombies of their family members in hopes that they might eventually be a cure. This volume gives a look into what might happen in that situation.
