Ok ... seriously, what the hell? I read this whole thing, and it was a giant slog. I don't understand how this book is rated so highly. Am I that dense? This was boring, filled with what amounted to tangential details, and it added up to nothing. In addition, I thought the writing style was bordering on juvenile most of the time. Not only was the story dull, the sentences were, too!

Again, I ask you: what the hell is up with the adoration of this piece of crap?

Kate Kelly Sigh...so disappointing. This book is more about exploring the darker side of your imagination than a direct encounter with someone else's imagination. I found it visual and engrossing and it tapped into the darker reaches of spirit that often remain hidden or scarcely trifled with in many books. I am sorry that you did not gain that from this book. Alas.
