** spoiler alert ** I couldn't put this book down. It's about a middle-aged man whose relationship has fallen apart and he has found comfort in phone conversations with a 13 year old boy who is suffering from AIDs. Or is he suffering from AIDs? Or, does this kid even exist? His doubts lead him on a quest to find the truth and make for a great story. And, just in case you forgot you were reading fiction, there is a twist at the end that makes you question everything you have read.

The other interesting aspect about this book, which I found out after I read it, is that this is based on a true story about the author. So, even though the books leaves you wondering, you can read about the real story online and feel a little more resolution. Honestly though, it doesn't matter, the books is still good.
