Interesting to get a view of the US from the outside. Fry is an engaging writer and it's an enjoyable read. He got some facts wrong and I can't agree with some of his observations, but overall the book is well done.

Shaelynn I'm curious how you like this book...

Barb I'm enjoying it thus far. It's interesting, because it's clearly written for a British audience. But as a series of vignettes, it's good. Plus, I like Fry's humor. You're welcome to borrow it when I finish; it's definitely one that works better in hard copy than electronic--a LOT of really nice pictures.

Shaelynn Hey. It sounds like this was a pretty interesting read. I would be interested in borrowing it sometime, if that's cool.

Barb No problem! I'll try to remember to bring it on Monday. I also just got the first DVD of the tv series from Netflix.
