My favorite read of 2011. Enjoyed the characters, setting, murder mystery. Author does a good job drawing you into the emotions of each character/setting: coldness, loneliness, anger, confusion, love, etc. There are many characters (ages, cultural, maturity) with widely varying motives. The book consists of short chapters, each with a different characters perspective. Only Mrs. Ross's story in in the first person, which enhanced the feel of the time & place in which the book takes place. I did not find this distracting.
