Grace has watched the wolves in the woods for as long as she can remember. But the yellowed eyed wolf-her wolf, was her favorite. They watched over eac other, neither making a move toward each other just staring longly at each other's eyes. Sam, the yellow-eyed wolf is only wolf during the winter. . .but in the summer,warmer times, he shifts into a human to work at a bookstore. But when Sam gets shot in wolf form in the winter..he shifts back into a human. . .and get's taken care by his summer girl.



I loved this book because of the way the author describes the settings and how they're both lingering to each others eyes and she uses big words and not just sad and mad but juicy words that made you feel like you were there.
