These are a set of lectures that Welty delivered at Harvard. Wonderfully simple recordings; at times she can't make out her own notes and has to pause to re-read. Her accent is real and touching.
This audiobook is worth having just for the sake of listening to individual segments on quiet Sunday mornings.
