** spoiler alert ** Taylor Kincaid - jewel theif extrodinaire, adreniline junkie - we don't learn until midway that she retrieves stolen jewels for insurance companies. and she is the best...

Huntington St John, aka Hunt - out to stop Mano de Dios - a religious terrorist group... they have a weapon of mass destruction, and T-FLAC has been tipped off that discs in the safe can be found...

And Taylor robs said safe (of course the safe guaranteed not to be able to be broken into) - unknowingly carrying off 5 discs along with the jewels. to confuse things, the black rose terrorist group wants those discs and cause Laura to be arrested as soo as she returns to their hotel... she had mailed the safe contents to Switzerland before she returned to the hotel.

Hunt breaks her out of jail (after 5 failed attempts in the 3 hours it took Hunt to get it together)... he takes her to a safe house, and in spite of his attraction for her, does his best to intimidate the information out of her... she is temporarily blinded because of head trauma in the jail... but she doesn't tell him anything - in spite of her attraction to him... and when he falls asleep, she slips out of the handcuffs (yeah, what was he thinking - she had freed herself of multiple chains & locks in the jail when he found her), and hits him over the head with the lamp to knock him out... and escapes...

It takes them 2 months to track her down again... and this time, bit by bit they come to trust one another... he tells her who he works for and why they want the disks... and though they had sex on the plane on the way to Zurich, when they get to the vault, she palms 2 of the 5 disks as insurance - in case they aren't the good guys. but then their car is gassed, and when they wake up 3 hours later, the 3 disks are gon... she takes Hunt and his team to her condo, more sex, more talk... and then when she realizes what the disks represent, she turns them over...

Mano de Dios believes God wants him to destroy evil Las Vegas - with a missle hidden underground behind 7 locks, with each lock/environment varied to represent the 7 levels of Dante's inferno... they have codes for 2 locks... and need Taylor to help them negotiate the locks...

They make their way down, bit by bit, knowing when they get there, the Manos will attack... Hunt & Taylor both come to realize they love each other, though both never thought they would love anyone... at the last lock on the missle, Taylor is sprayed with a chemical that makes her unconsious... Hunt rushes her to rescue, and they fix her... and they finally admit their love for one another...
