This was a favorite of mine as a kid. I love the illustrations in this book! This is a great book for teaching sequencing and ordering events. As the book goes along the characters pile up on the bed to take a nap. They all climb on top of each other in a certain order and the book repeats that order every time a new character is added. Then they come off of the bed in the reverse order due to a sequence of events. I love this book for so many reasons; teaching language arts and math is just a perk!
