I couldn’t wait to read this book, just the thought of Kitty running loose in London with Ben and Cormac trying to reign her in had me giggling. I knew that there would be no way that trouble wouldn’t follow her half way around the world, and what do you know, I wasn’t wrong!
What I really liked about this book was that there were characters from previous books that showed up. We got to see them in a new light and catch up to them and see what they were up to. Some I was glad to see, others I started out glad, but hated how they acted and after knowing the changes in Kitty’s life.
I liked Cormac/Amelia’s part in this one. Learning more about Amelia’s past was fun. I was surprised by how accepting her kin was. I also like how Cormac is more forth coming with his relationship with Amelia and how Kitty will have questions specifically for her.
Like always, Kitty seems to find friends and allies when she travels and meets new people. I was surprised by some of those. I loved how Kitty kept throwing people, it seemed like none of them really believed the gossip about Kitty until they see her in action. When Kitty and Ben meet the vamp council, it seemed like they had a whole comedy routine going, one that stunned the vamps quiet. I also really liked how Kitty dealt with the werewolf Alpha. He was another one that seemed stunned by Kitty’s actions. He didn’t think her plan would work, but seeing was believing.
Kitty’s speech at the end was a brave choice. Those that are in the know, knew what she was talking about, while those that didn’t would take her words in a bad way. I liked that Kitty didn’t hide what was going on, but brought it out in the open even if it had the potential hurting her.
The ending with Rick was great! It proved that Kitty was right with her choices and looks to have even more allies than she realizes. I can’t wait to see where things go from here.

Should I buy it even though I don't own the others? Or, force my library to get it?
